SOIL Multi User Access enables customers to access SOIL by establishing a secure VPN tunnel between SOIL and their network through the Internet.

There is no need for a fixed line dedicated to SOIL. Extremely cost effective with low complexity and complete flexibility, this solution is ideal for smaller companies with low data requirements or remote offices of larger companies where an access line is not feasible.

24/7 support

To ensure that our clients receive the best possible service, RigNet provides 24/7 support through our service helpdesk. In addition, missing connections between SOIL and a customer will be automatically detected and reported to our technical staff via our network monitoring tools.

Enhanced security

To ensure greater security, RigNet uses a pre-shared encryption key that is configured to the customer router prior to it being shipped. If the router is to be moved or to receive a new IP-address, it is essential that RigNet is informed in advance because any down time on this router will be detected by RigNet's network monitoring systems. Customers connecting to SOIL must also have a firewall between their local network and SOIL. The customer router in this solution can however be configured as a firewall.
