RigNet, Inc. Names Lance Howland Marketing Manager

HOUSTON, TX - May 2, 2011 - RigNet, Inc., a leading independent provider of remote communications and collaborative applications to the global oil and gas industry, has named Lance Howland to the position of Marketing Manager, announced Molly McGuirk, Director of Marketing & Product Management.

Based at RigNet's Houston headquarters, Howland will be focused on managing corporate marketing and strategies.  Howland most recently served as the marketing manager for Houston Wire & Cable Company.  During this time he was instrumental in the company gaining recognition as a Forbes Top 200 Small Business for two consecutive years.  Howland has more than fifteen years experience as a marketer for multiple industries (including oil & gas) and possesses international marketing expertise.  Howland is an active member of the Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association and has been recognized by the organization for his work.  He holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
