RigNet’s Jimmerson Named a 2010 CFO of the Year by the Houston Business Journal

Houston, TX, May 27, 2010 - RigNet, Inc., a leading global provider of managed communications solutions for the upstream oil and gas industry, announced that Marty Jimmerson, RigNet’s chief financial officer, was recognized by the Houston Business Journal as the 2010 Best CFO of the Year in the Best Growth Manager category. The CFO of the Year awards recognize Houston-area CFOs for their outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards

Jimmerson oversees RigNet's global financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax and region finance management. He has worked diligently with the management team to manage costs, enhance growth and strengthen financial processes and controls. Since joining RigNet in late 2006, Jimmerson has been instrumental in guiding the Company through its exponential growth.

The winners were announced during the fourth annual “Best CFOs of the Year Awards Luncheon” on Friday, May 21 at the Wortham Center in Houston, Texas.
