RigNet Names Hector Maytorena
Vice President & General Manager, Americas Region

HOUSTON, TX  - RigNet, Inc., a leading global provider of managed communications solutions for the oil and gas industry, has named Hector Maytorena to the position of Vice President and General Manager, Americas Region, announced Mark Slaughter, RigNet CEO & President.

Based at RigNet's Houston headquarters, Maytorena most recently served as Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing. Prior to RigNet, Maytorena was general manager, Southeast Texas for United Technologies' UTC Fire & Security (operating under the Chubb Security and Redhawk brands) and earlier was director of sales at Chubb Security USA. Maytorena has a long history within the remote communications industry, holding various sales, marketing, and business development leadership roles with increasing responsibility at Stratos Global Corporation's Broadband Division. These roles included Senior Director, Global Energy Sales; Director, Global Energy Sales and Marketing; Senior Sales Manager; and Regional Sales Manager. He has also owned and operated a training and development company providing customized corporate leadership and sales training services.
