RigNet Strengthens North Sea Operations With Management Additions

HOUSTON, TX - July 10, 2006 - RigNet, Inc., a leading global provider of managed communication services for the upstream oil and gas industry, today announced additional leadership appointments to its management team, capitalizing on recent and projected growth, as well as strengthening its North Sea region operations. The Company's key management hires will also enhance its rapid growth throughout the Europe and Africa region.

Trygve Hagevik joins RigNet as vice president, Europe and Africa, and will be based in Stavanger, Norway. Mr. Hagevik joins the Company from Schlumberger Network Services where he served as sales manager. He has held sales and business development positions for such companies as American Express and Alcatel. In his new position, Mr. Hagevik will lead RigNet's growth efforts throughout the Company's North Sea region, as well as Europe and Africa.

Alan Walker also joins RigNet as general manager, UK. In his position, he will manage the day-to-day operations as well as capitalize on the region's growth opportunities. Mr. Walker comes to RigNet from Schlumberger DMS where he held senior system engineer and business development positions.
