Mark Slaughter: Chief Executive Officer & President
Mr. Slaughter oversees RigNet's global business, including sales and marketing, operations, engineering, region management, legal, and human resources. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy, telecommunications and remote communications industries. He has served in management roles at Halliburton Company, Reliant Energy, and United Technologies, and as president of Stratos Global Corporation's Broadband Division. Slaughter received an Artium Baccalaureus from Harvard College and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
Marty Jimmerson: Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Jimmerson oversees RigNet's global financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, internal audit, and region finance management. He has more than 13 years experience in the upstream oil and gas and wireless communications industries, working with companies such as Noble Drilling Corporation and American Tower. Jimmerson has held accounting, finance and operations management positions with a focus on internal financial operations analysis and management, capital funding and strategic planning. Jimmerson received a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Baylor University.
William (Bill) Sutton: Vice President & General Counsel
Mr. Sutton is responsible for all Company legal matters worldwide, the global business compliance program, telecom regulatory licensing, and corporate secretary duties for the Board of Directors. His legal duties also extend to mergers and acquisitions, litigation, contract administration, and employment law and benefits. Sutton previously served as general counsel for Dailey International, an oilfield services company; Dash Multi-Corp; and Lawrence Industries. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston.
Regional Managers
Hector Maytorena: Vice President & General Manager, Americas
Mr. Maytorena manages the Company's offshore and onshore business segments in North and South America. Previously he served as vice president, global sales & marketing. Prior to joining RigNet, he served as general manager of Southeast Texas for United Technologies' UTC Fire & Security (operating under the Chubb Security and Redhawk brands). Prior to that role, he was director of sales at Chubb Security USA. Maytorena has a long history within the remote communications industry, holding various sales, marketing, and business development leadership roles with increasing responsibility at Stratos Global Corporation's Broadband Division.
Lars Eliassen: Vice President & General Manager, Europe Middle East Africa
Mr. Eliassen manages RigNet's growth and operations in the Europe Africa region. Previously he directed global sales, marketing and new business development, and earlier served as vice president & general manager, Americas and vice president, global operations. Eliassen has more than 10 years of management, marketing and business development experience in the oil and gas industry, serving technology, software and consulting companies. Prior to joining RigNet, he served as director of marketing at Production Access, Inc., a provider of information management solutions for oil and gas producers. Eliassen holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Rice University.
John Troup: Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific
Mr. Troup manages RigNet's growth and operations in the Asia Pacific region. Previously, he served as a regional manager with RigNet. Troup has 34 years experience in the oil and gas industry with 25 years in management roles, including extensive experience in the Middle and Far East. Prior to joining RigNet, he served in management capacities for Abbot Group, Oceaneering and McDermott.
Les Babin: President, LandTel Communications
Mr. Babin manages LandTel Communications, which was acquired in August 2006. With 35 years in the oil and gas industry, Babin began his career in 1975 with Otis Engineering Corporation (formerly a subsidiary of Halliburton) in snubbing and coil tubing. In 1977, Babin trained as a mud engineer with Chromalloy Delta Mud where he worked in West Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. In 1979, Babin relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana to begin his sales career with Drilling and Production Tool Corporation. In 1986, he entered oilfield communications working for several years for Tele-Tech Services and Auto-Comm. In 1995, Babin formed LandTel Communications to provide a total communications solution to land drilling rigs in Louisiana and Texas.

Joe Conboy: Vice President of Global Sales
Mr. Conboy oversees and coordinates global sales efforts. He brings over 15 years of industry experience, including progressive business development roles with increasing responsibility at Stratos Global Corporation and Seven Seas Communications. Most recently at Stratos, he served as senior director, US & Latin America and as senior director for Mobile Satellite and Broadband (VSAT). Conboy has a Bachelor of Science in finance & international economics from Boston University and a Juris Doctorate degree from State University of New York.
Morten Hagland Hansen: Vice President, Global Engineering
Mr. Hansen is responsible for the global engineering group, which oversees RigNet's global MPLS, IP, satellite, and SOIL networks, including all supporting applications and related infrastructure. Additionally, his team supports new product development and network design assistance for major drilling and oil and gas producing customers. Hansen has more than 12 years experience in information technology and telecoms engineering, design, and deployment. Since joining RigNet in 2001, he has served in several key leadership roles and is presently a member of the corporate management team. Additionally, Hansen is an officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
Brian Keefover: Director of Global Operations
Mr. Keefover is responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the Company, bringing more than 20 years of satellite and telecommunications experience with 15 years serving in the oil and gas industry. Brian joins RigNet from CapRock Communications where he served as director of operations, North America. Prior to that, he worked for several years at Schlumberger in a range of IT and remote communications roles of increasing responsibility. He also worked at IWL Communications, a predecessor company to CapRock, further grounding him in the remote communications industry. Other experience includes serving as a field engineer for IDB WorldCom and as a satellite communications specialist for the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
Molly McGuirk: Director of Product Management
Ms. McGuirk directs the development, planning and execution of RigNet's products and services. McGuirk brings over 21 years of business experience, including progressive staff and general management roles with increasing responsibility at United Technologies' UTC Fire & Security and IKON Office Solutions. Most recently at UTC Fire & Security, she served as general manager for electronic and physical security firm Redhawk. McGuirk has a Bachelor of Science in accounting & psychology from the University of Oregon, a Master of Business Administration from Marylhurst University and is a graduate of United Technologies' Emerging Leaders Program held at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business.
Boyd Skelton: Manager of Planning and Marketing
Mr. Skelton manages corporate marketing and strategic efforts. Boyd previously served as associate – business & market analysis. Before RigNet, he worked for FileControl, a start-up software firm, in the roles of development manager, project lead, and developer. Most recently he interned at Sanders Morris Harris Private Equity Group and The Houston Angel Network. Skelton has a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business

Barise Hatfield: Director of Global Human Resources
Ms. Hatfield manages human resources for RigNet's global workforce, and brings over 14 years of human resources experience, including progressive roles with increasing responsibility at Huntsman International, Enbridge Energy Company and Air Liquide America. Most recently at Huntsman, she served as global mobility advisor, from which position she was responsible for the HR planning and needs of the company's expatriate workforce. Hatfield has a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and marketing from the University of Houston, a Master of Business Administration from Letourneau University and holds professional certifications as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) and global professional in human resources (GPHR). Additionally, she serves on the advisory committee of the Houston International HR Roundtable.
Tonya McDermott: Director of Tax
Mrs. McDermott manages RigNet's tax function, including (i) global tax compliance; (ii) income tax accounting; and (iii) strategic planning and restructuring. She most recently was director of tax at W-H Energy Services, an oilfield services company based in Houston with multi-national operations. Prior to that, she was a partner with a local private firm and tax manager with Arthur Andersen. A CPA, Tonya has a Master of Science in tax from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Todd Moser: Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller
Mr. Moser is responsible for all accounting and consolidated reporting activities of the Company. Moser has a long history in accounting and finance in both the energy and construction industries. Moser most recently served as vice president of finance for Atlantic Holdings II, a private equity backed entity focused on industrial services and construction. Prior to Atlantic Holdings, Moser served as chief financial officer at Cable Lock and served as director and chief financial officer at LDI Mechanical, Inc. He has a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
