DESCRIPTION:
- Effective planning and execution of RigNet projects, on time and on budget, ensuring full customer satisfaction
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures projects are completed to customer specification, timescale and project budget
- Provide single point of contact for both internal and external clients
- Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Work with outside vendors to ensure all project materials are received / delivered
- Ensure correct billing of project activities
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- University degree in relevant technical field
- Project management certification is a plus
- Cisco, VSAT, LoS training is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience with project management in the remote communications field
- Experience with remote communications (VSAT, microwave), voice and video solutions preferred
Knowledge, skills, and Abilities:
- Hands-on knowledge of offshore operations and logistics are required
- Must have the ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team
