Job Title: Project Manager - Stavanger, Norway

Reports to: Area Manager


DESCRIPTION:

  • Effective planning and execution of RigNet projects, on time and on budget, ensuring full customer satisfaction

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                             

  • Ensures projects are completed to customer specification, timescale and project budget
  • Provide single point of contact for both internal and external clients
  • Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Work with outside vendors to ensure all project materials are received / delivered
  • Ensure correct billing of project activities
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • University degree in relevant technical field
  • Project management certification is a plus
  • Cisco, VSAT, LoS training is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience with project management in the remote communications field
  • Experience with remote communications (VSAT, microwave), voice and video solutions preferred

Knowledge, skills, and Abilities:

  • Hands-on knowledge of offshore operations and logistics are required
  • Must have the ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team
