Job Title: Procurement and Logistics Coordinator - Stavanger

DESCRIPTION:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination of procurement of equipment and services, shipping, customs clearance and freight of equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Place and manage orders for equipment and services for RigNet projects
- Track progress of orders during procurement process
- Assure purchasing from the most cost effective and timely sources for project requirements.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for sparing and project needs
- Liaison with engineering function to assure correct specification of equipment
- Manage customs, importation and other documents as necessary for shipping
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders
- Develop volume discounts with shipping companies to reduce cost
- Assist the accounting function with various tasks, including data entry and processes
- Assure compliance with FCPA other relevant compliance regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Associate degree in relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience with purchasing and logistics in the offshore industry
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Hands-on knowledge of offshore operations and logistics are required
- Must have the ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team
