REPORTS TO:
*Vice President & General Manager, Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) region
|
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall responsibility for the area, including profit and loss (P&L), to drive sales and profitability to meet targets
- Specific responsibility for sales, provisioning and operations within the area, supported by region and corporate engineering and finance functions
- Responsible for developing and delivering against budgets and forecasts
- Manage day-to-day operations, and service customers with the goal of operational excellence
- Implement and maintain processes and procedures associated with the sales, provisioning and operations functions in the area
- Manage local Aberdeen and West/North Africa based teams
- Oversee scheduling of personnel for jobs, projects and dispatches
- Oversee billing of jobs and projects
- Oversee inventory and asset control
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task under these conditions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- University degree in relevant business or technical field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years management and P&L experience in remote communications
- Minimum 2 years operational experience in remote communications
- Experience from business development and operations in Africa preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have the ability to organize and lead teams in disparate geographies
- Must have direct skills in P&L management
